Library Resource Centre (LRC)

The main objective is to render services in various media such as audio, large print and digital formats.

Volunteers play a very valuable and important role in the provision of library services. The tasks they perform include the following:-

a) Read to the blind staff for transcription of books into Braille.
b) Read books onto tapes for the Talking Book Library.
c) Copy typing on the computer for embossing into Braille.
d) Sort out the Braille books on the shelf.
e) Read documents to library users or members.

  • Loan of Braille equipment to blind students
  • Book-scanning service for the blind through computer
