Announcement 1: Talk on Cervical Cancer
The MAB Blind Women’s Club will be holding this talk on Saturday, 10th July at 11.00 am. The speaker is Dr. Sharifah Azlina, a Medical Officer from Kuala Lumpur Hospital. Refreshment will be served at 10.30 am. Kindly contact Ms. Jacqueline at tel. 03 2272 2677 extension 175 for registration.
Announcement 2: Community Policing in Brickfields

Announcement 3: MAB Staff Club Trip to Cameron Highlands
This has been postponed to 9 & 10 October (Saturday and Sunday). For more information, please contact Mr. Ramdas at extension 129.
Announcement 4: Line Dancing
The next line dancing will be on Thursday, 8th July, 8.00 pm at the MAB Hall. Those interested, please contact Ms. Anna Loo at tel. 013 360 6088.
Announcement 5: KRM Talentime 2010
This will be on Saturday, 7th August, 8.00 pm at the MAB Hall. The preliminary round will be held on 17th July at the Music Room of MAB. The fee is RM10.00 for members and RM15.00 for non-members. For more information and registration, please contact En. Anuar Bidin at tel. 016 379 8659.
Announcement 6: Elderly Blind Gathering
The next elderly blind gathering will be on Saturday, 24th July, 10.30 am at the MAB Hall. The talk will be on sugar and health presented by Mr. Anversah. Preceded the gathering will be lotto at the canteen or dominoes at the Elderly Blind Center. The fee is RM4.00 for members and RM5.00 for non-members. Announcement 7: Harmonica Workshop Update
MAB in collaboration with Malaysian Council for Rehabilitation will be holding a harmonica workshop for the disabled on Friday, 30th July, 3.00 pm at the MAB Hall. The aim of the workshop is to introduce the harmonica as a means of holistic approach to life by helping to develop the mind and body through concentration and breathing techniques. Announcement 8: Festive Hampers for the Blind

Announcement 9: Paralympics Carnival DBKL – KL Open 2010
DBKL in collaboration with Majlis Paralimpik Malaysia will be holding this carnival from 23 – 25 July in Bandar Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur. Sports for the blind will include goalball, ten pin bowling, athletic, swimming and tandem riding. Please register with En. Fairuz at tel. 03 2272 2677 extension 136.
