Here are seven announcements.
Announcement 1: Halal Vegetarian Lunch
This will be at the Brickfields Buddhist Temple on Sunday, 17th August, from 10.00 am – 1.00 pm. Those interested to attend, please contact Ms. Lee Fang at tel. 03 2034 5903 during office hours.
Announcement 2: Poem Declamation and Patriotic Song Contest
This program is being organised by the MAB Youth Club in conjunction with the 51st Merdeka. The poem contest will be on Friday, 22nd August and the patriotic song contest will be on Saturday, 30th August. Registration fee is RM3.00 for members and RM7.00 for non-members. Announcement 3: Tandem and Wheel Chair Expedition
This is a collaborative activity of KRSCAP and the Wheelchair Sports Association of Selangor and KL on Saturday, 23rd August in Putrajaya. If you wish to be a tandem rider, please contact Pn. Noor Hazira Mohd Noor at tel. 012 354 5217. Priority is for members only.
Announcement 4: 6th AGM of KRM
This will be on Sunday, 31st August 2008. The fee is RM3.00 for members. Membership fee should be settled before the AGM. For further information, please contact En. Mohd Yusof Abdullah at tel. 013 340 4406.
Announcement 5: Health Awareness Talk
This will be at the Elderly Blind Centre on Saturday, 30th August. The title is “The Secret of Success”. You are welcome to bring friends both blind and sighted. Registration fee is RM2.00 only. Please contact Ms. Patricia Lee at tel. 012 675 3844.
Announcement 6: Lunch to Celebrate Month of Ramadhan
This is an invitation from Pusat Khidmat for lunch at MAB Cafetaria on Sunday, 17th August from 11.00 am – 2.00 pm. The election of committee members for 2008 – 2010 will be held. Please contact the office at tel. 03 9221 1440 to register.
Announcement 7: Carnival Brickfields 2008
This will be on Saturday, 16th August from 9.00 am – 3.00 pm at Kompleks MAB in conjunction with merdeka celebration organised by the Rukun Tetangga Brickfields.
Activities will include exhibitions of the police, fire brigade and disabled products, free medical check-up, fashion parade, stage competition, colouring contest and concert. To register, please contact Cik Raja Norsaadah at tel. 03 2272 2677 extension 119.
