Hello ladies and gentlemen.
Here are seven announcements.
Announcement 1: Festive Hampers
Blind persons who are eligible to receive festive hampers from MAB, please fill in the required form. The forms are available at the reception counter or please contact the telephone operator at tel. 03 2272 2677 extension 126 or 110. The closing date for submitting the forms is 31st July.
Announcement 2: Indoor Games at The Elderly Blind Centre
There will be dominoes competition on the last Wednesday of July with cash prizes to be won. So, please focus on this game for the following Wednesdays. Coffee and biscuits will be provided. For further detail, please contact En. Taslim at tel. 03 2272 2677 extension 111 or 013 340 3006.
Announcement 3: Poem Declamation Competition Organised by MAB Youth Club
In conjunction with 51st Merdeka Day, the MAB Youth Club will be organising poem declamation competition on Saturday, 23rd August. Registration fee is RM3.00 for members and RM7.00 for non-members. The prizes for the first place is RM300.00, second RM200.00, third RM100.00 and consolation prize. The closing date is 16th August. For further information, please contact Pn. Announcement 4: National Reading Festival
In conjunction with the National Reading Festival organised by the National Library from 2 – 4 July, the blind were invited to take part in the braille reading and dominoes competition. The winners for braille reading were Chan Sau Yin – first, Zahari Hashim – second and Fadzlin Hiezrie – third. For the dominoes, the winners were Razimah Mat Yasin, Rokiah Daud and Mohamad Harun.
Announcement 5: Blood Donation Campaign
PERTIS in collaboration with MAB will be organising a blood donation campaign on Saturday, 19th July. For further information, please contact Cik Rosmawati at tel. 012 260 3512.
Announcement 6: Second MCR National Rehabilitation Conference

Announcement 7: Braille Magazine And New Titles In BM
The library has received new braille magazine – The Spectrum, June edition. Here are 7 new titles in BM. To borrow, please contact Pn. Zuraidah at tel. 03 2272 2677 extension 150. The titles are:-

- Rantai Emas by Rubiah Jusoh.
- Puteri Santubong by Rubiah Jusoh.
