Here are five announcements.
Announcement 1: MAB Charity Dinner Concert, Sunday, 29th June
A press conference to publicize the charity dinner was held on Wednesday, 4th June at the MAB Hall. Zainal Abidin, the main entertainer, gave an enjoyable preview of his show and those present had no regrets. If you don’t want to miss out, it’s not too late. You can support MAB with a contribution of RM200.00 for a seat which will guarantee that you can enjoy the whole show. So, please contact Ms. Theresa at tel. 03 2272 2677 extension 118 immediately!
Announcement 2: Web Accessibility Training Workshop Closing Ceremony
This was held on Friday, 6th June at the MAB Hall. Certificates were given to the nine participants from the Asean countries. The workshop was held from 2 - 8 June and it was preceded by an online course which lasted from January to June, 2008.
During the ceremony, the RM2 million grants from the government for the equipment loan scheme was launched by the Deputy Director-General of JKM, Pn. Halijah and loans were given out to the first batch of 11 blind persons. RM10,000 was also received from Denso Company for the MAB ICT development fund. Announcement 3: Elderly Blind Gathering
The next elderly blind gathering will be held on Saturday, 28th June at 11.00 am in the MAB Hall. There will be lotto at 9.00 am in the cafetaria and En. Taslim will be in charge. There will also be a talk on goat milk products which is supposedly good for bones, muscles and other organs and the prevention of diabetes and depression. Samples will be given out. The fee is RM4.00 for members and RM5.00 for non-members. Please register with Mr. K.P. if you wish to attend at tel. 03 5621 5966 or 013 364 5622.

Announcement 5: Distribution of Bags
