Hello ladies and gentlemen.
Here are six announcements.
Announcement 1: MAB Charity Dinner Concert
This will be held on Sunday, 29th June from 7.30 – 11.30 pm at the Legend Hotel. Invitations will be by donation of tables at RM2,000.00 per table or RM200.00 per seat. Zainal Abidin, the popular entertainer will be performing plus the MAB Harmonica Group. For further details, please contact Ms. Theresa at tel. 03 2272 2677 extension 118.
Announcement 2: Vacancies For Blind Masseurs
Anyone interested in being employed as masseurs, please contact Ms. Jacqueline at tel. 03 2272 2677 extension 175.
Announcement 3: Paper Cane Weaving
There are now five blind persons taking part in the course and they are enjoying very much learning how to make various articles like vases, egg-baskets, and so on. If you wish to develop this interesting hobby, why not join the group every Saturday morning from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon at the Elderly Blind Centre. Announcement 4: AGM of KRSCAP
This will be held on Sunday, 22nd June at 9.00 am in the MAB Cafetaria. For further information, please contact En. Abian Jambot at tel. 012 2046 863.
Announcement 5: Perkins Brailler Course
MAB in collaboration with Pakistan Disabled Foundation is conducting a Perkins Brailler Course from 4 – 30 June at PDF Quaid-e-Azam Academy, Karachi, Pakistan. Mr. S. Subramaniam, MAB brailler technician is away during this period to help conduct the course.
Announcement 6: New Magazines And New Titles In BM
The library has received new braille magazine – The Braille Monitor, May edition. Here are 9 new children’s titles in BM and 5 popular English titles among the borrowers. The titles are:-
