Countryside
Tour
The Countryside Tour
takes you to the outskirts of the city. Observe
how traditional Batik is produced from plain
cotton cloth and transformed into colourful
patterns and designs by hand. The Pewter factory
never fails to intrigue visitors with their
skilled workmanship in producing handcrafted
pewter ware. Continue to the famed Batu Caves,
which attracts half a million people yearly
during the Hindu festival, Thaipusam.
It awaits your arrival with its 272 steps and fascinating cave structures. Enroute see local traditional Malay Villages and enjoy a brief stop at the Butterfly and Insect Shop. |

Putrajaya Tour
Visit Putrajaya, the
futuristic administrative centre of Malaysia.
This beautiful garden city will serve as the hub
of the country’s leap into the IT age. Its
main attraction is the imposing 6- storey
building housing the Prime Minister’s
Department, which boasts a mixture of European,
Malay and Islamic architectural styles. Another
striking landmark is the Putra Mosque, which
incorporates architectural influences from
Morocco and Kazakhstan. Other highlights of the
tour include a visit to the Prime Minister’s
residence and the scenic Putrajaya Wetlands, a
sanctuary for migratory birds and recreational
centre for city’s residents.
